Ms. Kamala Thapa, an esteemed educator and visionary leader, was born on June 21st, 1977, as the second child of Bhadra Bahadur Thapa and Chandrakala Thapa. Her early years were marked by a strong foundation in education and a profound dedication to academic excellence. Born in Ambertur, South India, Ms. Thapa embarked on her educational journey at Babuji English Boarding School in Ambertur, Madras. After spending her formative years in India, she relocated to Nepal with her family, settling in Baglung district, where she continued her education. Ms. Thapa's academic pursuits led her to Shree Dhara Primary School and later to Shree Laxmi Secondary School, where she completed her secondary education. In 2054, she successfully passed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning, Ms. Thapa furthered her studies at Mahendra Multiple Campus in Baglung, where she earned both her Intermediate of Arts (I.A.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees. Subsequently, she pursued higher education at Kirtipur, Kathmandu, culminating in the attainment of a Master's Degree in Nepali Subject. Throughout her academic and professional career, Ms. Thapa actively engaged in various political organizations and associations, garnering invaluable insights into societal dynamics and governance structures. Ms. Thapa commenced her illustrious teaching career at Shree Dhara Secondary School in Kathekhola Rural Municipality 4, Baglung, in 2012. Her unwavering dedication to educational excellence and student development has since been a cornerstone of her professional ethos. In recognition of her exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to education, Ms. Thapa assumed the role of headmaster/headmistress of Shree Dhara Secondary School on December 29, 2019. In this capacity, she continues to inspire and empower the school community, spearheading initiatives aimed at fostering academic excellence and holistic development.
